For this year, our theme for the last supper of the week is Faith Heroes. We would like our campers to pick some one who has been a big part of their faith growth. This person could be a Biblical person, who has taught them a life lesson. It could also be some one in their own life, like a Sunday School teacher or pastor or a parent! Then come prepared to dress up as that person and tell us who they are!

REGISTRATION DAY!
Registration will not begin until 3:00 PM
1. If you still owe a portion of the camper fee this will
be collected at that time.
2. Campers receive their cabin number assignment and swim number. The swim number is needed each time they go through the canteen (store) or go swimming. Campers are not allowed to keep money in their cabins. Any money remaining on the last day will be returned to them or can be given as a donation.
3. Next they will visit briefly with the camp nurse. All medications will be given to the Nurse to be dispensed at the appropriate times.
4. Then the camper will go to his/her cabin to meet their Cabin Leader(s) and other campers.
5. Orientation for the campers begins in the
Chapel at about 4:45 PM.
INSURANCE: Camp Joy carries “excess" insurance coverage. This means that you submit all injury claims to your own insurance carrier, if applicable, first. However, Camp Joy has a very good track record in keeping the campers safe!
DONATIONS: The fee, which campers pay, is only a portion of the actual cost for Camp Joy to provide a week of camping.
Note: The actual amount it costs us to provide a week of camp is approximately $200; please keep that in mind as you consider a donation to send with your registration.
Monetary and food donations are what make it possible to charge our low fee. To help keep the fee as low as possible, if you can, please bring a food and/or cash donation. If you choose to bring a food donation good items are: ground beef, hot-dogs shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella), fresh fruit or vegetables, cake or pancake mixes, eggs and #10 cans of fruit or vegetables. We are very thankful for your generosity!
Checking out on the Last Day: On the last day of camp the campers will be expected to clean their living areas and community buildings. After they have done that they will go with the adult they are riding home with to the Dining Hall to check out. At that time they will receive their canteen refund if they have any left. There will be a jar on the check-out table for donations to missions. Camp is over at 10 AM - Please plan to pick your camper up between 10 AM and 11 AM. The kitchen will be closed down for the week so there is no lunch on the last day of camp. The staff will be preparing the camp so they can leave for the weekend so please plan to pick your camper up between 10 & 11.
